The band switches labels to lMS, which was an indies sublabel of Universal Music.
The band leaves Universal and returns to indie status. They then create their own label Otokojuku Records, named after their official fanclub.

e.mu was a visual kei band in Hakodate. They were part of the soft visual subgenre. They were active from 1997 to 2003 and are now disbanded.
