This is such a strong mini-album. VIRGE (ヴァージュ) were always "good" but this release pushed them to "great", for me. While I was hesitant to try this at first because I didn't care for their first larger release, this quickly became a timeless classic of the 2010's. Ultra melodic, ultra catchy, and even quite diverse in terms of atmosphere and tempos, this mini has just enough tracks to highlight what this band excels at without the fat and without the filler. The promoted track encompasses their general sound to a T, and hard-hitting tracks like "WAISETSU Candy" and "Kazoku Gokko" have enough of a nod to visual-kei from the decade prior to reel me in, but are unique and fresh enough to keep me enticed. 100% recommend this as the starting point for anyone with an interest in trying this band.
